Dramatically increase metabolism in 30 minutes a week.

Metabolism has a few definitions depending on who you ask, for the purpose of this post it means the amount of energy your body burns throughout the day, equating in how many calories you burn. I've used this little trick to shed 7 pounds and drop 1.2% body fat in a week, without changing anything about my diet or work outs.

The Hack


Monday and Thursday morning (the days are not what matters, just do this twice a week. Doing more then this is treading in uncharted waters.) consume a little caffeine, 1/4 to 1/2 of a 5 hour energy will do just fine, don't eat anything.

Go for a 15 minute run. Warm up for 5 minutes then start interval running. Interval training consist of sprinting and walking. Sprint for 10 seconds, walk for 30. Keep this up the entire 10 minutes. Upon returning home do a little stretching to reduce any soreness.
